Traditional BookBinding is a professional bindery and restoration studio serving private clients, libraries, and businesses across Australia. We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented individual to assist with hands on production and basic bindery support tasks.

This casual role involves structured, repeat tasks within our bindery, including product production and supervised basic book repair preparation. No prior experience is required. Full training and support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with product production and assembly
• Filling, sealing, and labelling bottles
• Packing and preparing orders for dispatch
• Supporting basic book repair preparation under supervision
• Cleaning spines, preparing materials, and simple glue application
• Maintaining a clean and organised bindery workspace

All skilled restoration work and technical decisions remain with the senior bookbinder.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable with repetitive, hands on tasks
• Able to follow clear processes
• Physically capable of light lifting

Employment Details

Rate: $31 per hour plus 12 percent superannuation
Approx. 4 hours per shift
Up to one day per week, based on production needs
Flexible casual arrangement, day negotiated in advance
