This bone folder is made from genuine bone, however it does not meet our standards for professional bookbinding and is not part of our regular range.

Why This Bone Folder Is Different

We are very particular about the bone folders we sell.
For bookbinding, we only approve bone folders with a smooth, rounded point that glides safely over paper without scratching or marking it.

This bone folder has a sharper point than our standard, which is the primary reason it has been excluded from our bindery-approved range.

Because of the sharp point, this item may scratch, mark, or damage paper, especially during folding.
For this reason, we do not recommend it for bookbinding or paper folding.

Why This Item Is Available

Although it does not meet our standards for bookbinding, this item is still made from real bone and may be suitable for non-delicate, non-paper uses, such as:

• Letter opening
• Light craft or general use
• Non-delicate tasks where paper safety is not required

For transparency, this item is offered at a reduced price due to its non-standard shape.
