Proudly made in Australia, this book press is crafted from smooth-surface MDF for a flat, even pressing face, fitted with solid metal bolts and wing nuts at each corner. The solid metal hardware delivers firmer, tighter pressure than lighter alternatives, giving you more consistent, professional-grade results during the pressing process.

This compact and practical book press measures approximately 17.2 cm in width and 30 cm in length, with slight variations due to its handcrafted nature. It is ideal for pressing books up to 27 x 14.5 cm in size, with a maximum opening depth of 3.9 cm.

Simply sandwich your book or glued signatures between two boards, thread the bolts through the matching holes, and tighten the wing nuts evenly across all four corners for firm, even clamping pressure — ideal for case binding, perfect binding, and any finishing work where controlled pressure is essential to prevent warping and ensure a strong, flat spine.

Each piece is individually handcrafted, so minor differences in measurements may occur. The wooden surface may also display natural grain patterns or markings, which are part of the material's character and not considered defects.
